About Jackie
After spending over 15 years working in the corporate agency structure, performing nearly every task imaginable in digital marketing, finally the day came when Jackie decided that enough was enough. After a lot of planning and a lot of praying, she decided to go out on her own and form her own company under her own rules.
Luckily she is a “Jackie-of-all-trades” with enough experiences over this lifetime to do a million things. In fact, Jackie is a:
Entrepreneur – She and her husband have a vintage toy company – Turtle Man and Princess Evie – and they sell things like original GI Joes, Ninja Turtles, and He-Man online and at Comic Cons.
Chef and Foodie – She attended culinary school, has a degree in Pastry Arts, and often assists with community meals at her husband’s Masonic Lodge, LaFayette Lodge #199, where she is a former first lady.
Author – for a while (pre-COVID) she wrote the food and wine column for PA MENSA Magazine. Yes – she’s a member of MENSA.
Teacher – she taught SEO as an online adjunct instructor for the University of Wisconsin Madison and University of Florida.
Trivia Host – for two years she hosted a popular weekly trivia night at a local brewery, Floating Feathers. She also does personalized trivia for class reunions.
Painter – she has a number of paintings in her studio and often posts pictures of them on her Instagram account. Painting is a great form of therapy and stress relief.
Musician – she plays bass guitar and sings backup with the worship band at Grace Fellowship Church.
Podcaster – she helps run the podcast “Small Town Big Life“, which is produced at the church. Available on Amazon, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Simplecast, and the full videos of the podcasts on YouTube.
The Vision Wasn't Just Hers
When Jackie told people she was starting her own business, a sort of Jerry Maguire effect started happening. Brilliant friends from different areas of the US reached out, wanting to join up and share their services as well. A motley crew of freelancers, all!
Together, we continue to use the skills that we’ve all learned over the years of working, teaching, and assisting others, we’re uniting our powers for good in a weird, Captain Planet kind of way.
